PawRelay Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

PawRelay is operated by PawRelay. You can contact us at hyunever100@gmail.com.

2. What PawRelay Does

PawRelay helps dog and cat households manage local care routines, records, symptoms, photos, refill tracking, reminders, and vet-summary notes. PawRelay does not provide veterinary diagnosis, medical advice, prescription advice, or emergency care.

3. Information You Enter In The App

You may choose to enter or create:

• Caregiver name or nickname
• Pet name, species, optional birth date, and optional pet profile photo
• Routine tasks, care-completion history, skipped/snoozed task records, schedules, refill records, and local exports
• Symptom notes, severity, timestamps, and care photos

Most care data is stored locally on your device. If you turn on Family Sync, selected pet profiles, routines, task status, symptom records, household membership, and caregiver attribution are sent to PawRelay's Supabase backend so household members can share care. Local photo files are not uploaded through Family Sync.

If you choose the Plus Google Drive feature, PawRelay creates a JSON file in your Google Drive containing the selected pet's care data. You control the Drive file and any people you grant access to. Local photo files are not uploaded by this feature, although local file references may appear in the JSON record.

4. Photos And Device Permissions

If you use care photos or profile photos, PawRelay asks for camera or photo-library permission before accessing those features. Photos are copied into app-local storage where possible. You can delete photo records in the app, and you can remove the app from your device to delete local app data.

5. Advertising

The free version of PawRelay may show ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process data such as IP address, product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

You can control or reset Android advertising identifiers through Android device settings where available. PawRelay Plus removes in-app banner ads from the paid experience.

6. Purchases

PawRelay Plus and Family Sync purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google Play provides product, order, purchase-status, and subscription-lifecycle information needed to unlock, restore, and close paid access. For Family Sync, PawRelay stores a one-way hash of the Play purchase token, not the raw token.

7. Sharing

If you use the device share sheet to share a care photo, the selected photo is sent only to the app or service you choose. PawRelay does not control how that third-party app or service handles the shared file.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. PawRelay uses Supabase to provide optional sign-in and Family Sync, Google Play for purchases, Google AdMob for free-tier ads, and Google Drive only when you choose the Plus Drive feature. These providers may process data according to their own policies and our instructions. Family Sync shares the selected care data with members of the household you join or create.

9. Security

PawRelay stores app data locally using platform storage. Supabase sessions and Google Drive tokens are stored using Android secure storage where supported. Network requests to Supabase and Google services use encrypted transport. Family Sync and Drive data are not end-to-end encrypted from PawRelay or the selected service provider. We recommend protecting your device with a passcode, biometric lock, and current OS updates.

10. Retention And Deletion

Local app records remain on your device until you delete them, reset setup inside the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Family Sync account and associated server data remain until the account is deleted or the data is removed under the feature's normal operation.

You can request deletion from the signed-in Household screen or at the PawRelay account deletion page. We normally complete verified requests within 30 days. We may retain a minimal record when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or Google Play purchase reconciliation, and will explain any applicable retention. Google Drive files remain in your Google account until you delete them there.

11. Children

PawRelay is not designed for children and should be used by adults or with adult supervision. Do not enter information about children into PawRelay.

12. International Use

PawRelay may be available in multiple countries. Privacy and data-protection rights may vary by location. Contact us at hyunever100@gmail.com with privacy requests.

13. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as PawRelay changes. The effective date above will show when this policy was last updated.
